One
of the most deadly poison known to man doesn't look
like poison. In fact, it is one of the more appealing things. It reaches down into the most primitive desires of man. It look like something desirable but with a forbidden edge to it. It doesn't always strike immediately but it will strike and when it does, it bring pain misery and death. It not cyanide or arsenic or hemlock, it adultery.
In Proverbs 5:3-6 we read:
like poison.
“ For the lips of an adulteress drip honey And
smoother than oil is her speech; But in the end she is bitter as wormwood,
Sharp as a two-edged sword. Her feet go
down to death, Her steps take hold of death. She does not ponder the path of
life; Her ways are unstable, she does not know it."
Many folks have been lured into thinking adultery will bring them happiness or pleasure, but it
has been and always be a poison that kills. Don't drink the poison. Our world
treats adultery as if it perfectly safe thing. but be warned. It is a poison
that will kill.
