  An inventor invented a machine that had lights, bells, whistles, pulleys, gears and you would press a button and it would start running round and round and round.   Thomas Edison was a pioneer in electricity with his perfection of the light bulb but by 1887, his company that was attempting to light cites everywhere was struggling. The problem was in how the electricity was delivered. The truth was his direct current (DC) was not near as cost-effective as his bitter rival George Westinghouse’s alternate current (AC).   Abraham Lincoln was shot and killed in Ford’s Theater April 14 th , 1865. Of course, he had no idea that night would be his last. Lincoln loved the theater and it was his common diversion for his stressful job.
